Darian's mother recently created a domestic violence slideshow and dedicated a specal to Lee and his staff at wycp and it can be viewed at:

Darian is a young (youngest) lad we have ever taken out and he did awesome!.... he has us rethinking our age criteria. He and his mother have agreed to allow WYCP refer to his challenge. The West Edmonton Rotary club fully sponsored him at $1550.00. The handwritten letter is to his sponsors, his mother was shocked we (even) got him to write that much! Following that are two emails from his Mother that we found very encouraging, and an assessment letter to assist his probation hearing. Darian is the only soloist to construct a six foot high fence of deadbrush around his camp, we were pleased to see him "claiming" the area!

Emails from his mother:

"Hey Lee, Thank you so much! Darian let me know that he would like to attend one of your trips again as a team leader for some younger guys. I think that is great. He also said that he may have to stay with you for a bit while he did that and I think that is a positive thing. Let me know what you think in the summer and we could work somthing out. I just want him to be the best person he can be and I know that he has people like you in the world. So think about it and let me know as he mentioned it a few times and said thathe was welcomed back anytime. thanks so much Lee for everything and we will talk to you again soon. PS. No problems with school so far and he is doing well with his work. He is actually trying this year and that is a positive all in itself! Take care and a million thanks.

Karen.
