WYCP Costa Rica Raffle – Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the WYCP Costa Rica Raffle (the “Raffle”) and are binding upon all participants. By purchasing a ticket, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations, including those enforced by the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC).
1. Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older at the time of ticket purchase.
You must be a resident of Alberta and physically located in Alberta when purchasing your ticket.
Employees, board members of WYCP, and their immediate family members (defined as mother, father, brother, sister, son, daughter, or spouse residing in the same household) are not eligible to enter the Raffle.
2. Ticket Purchase
Each raffle ticket is priced at $50 CAD.
Tickets may be purchased online at wycp.org/raffle or via the QR code provided on WYCP’s promotional materials.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase. Partial payments, holds, or reservations are not permitted.
Ticket sales close on June 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM MDT.
3. Online Purchase Requirements
You must provide accurate and complete contact information, including your full name, email address, and phone number.
The raffle platform will conduct automated verification of age (18+) and Alberta residency/location in compliance with AGLC regulations.
4. Ticket Limitations
Tickets are non-transferable and may not be sold, gifted, or reassigned after purchase.
There is no limit to the number of tickets you may purchase.
A maximum of 400 tickets will be sold in total.
5. Refunds & Cancellations
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason, including quantity errors or change of mind.
In the event the Raffle is canceled by WYCP (with AGLC approval), ticket holders will be notified via email, and refunds may be issued at the sole discretion of WYCP.
6. Winner Selection & Notification
The winning ticket will be selected through a randomized draw held on October 11, 2025, in accordance with AGLC regulations.
The draw will be conducted in a public setting with a minimum of two executive members of WYCP present.
The winner will be notified directly by email and publicly announced on WYCP’s social media platforms using the hashtag #WYCPRaffle.
The winner must respond within 7 days of notification to claim the prize. Proof of age and Alberta residency (e.g., government-issued ID, utility bill, etc.) will be required.
If the winner does not respond within the required time or fails to provide proof of eligibility, WYCP reserves the right to select a new winner.
7. Prize Details & Restrictions
The prize consists of a 7-day trip for two (2) to Playa Junquillal, Costa Rica, including:
Accommodation in a private condo with a pool, located a short walk from the beach.
Round-trip airfare for two (2).
Airport transfers and on-call local transportation during the trip.
Food, beverages, and additional expenses are not included and are the responsibility of the winner.
The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other substitute.
If the winner is unable to travel, WYCP reserves the right to select a new winner at its discretion.

8. General Provisions
WYCP.org is not responsible for any lost, delayed, or misdirected entries, or any technical or human errors affecting the raffle process.
By participating, you agree to allow the use of your name and likeness for promotional purposes should you win, without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
This Raffle is conducted in accordance with the regulations of the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC).
