Our Mission
We are a nonprofit agency delivering a non treatment body awareness initiative by exposing youth to a backcountry experience focused around their own personal four day solo camping challenge.
Directive
Youth at Risk are the target group, referred by support persons. WYCP is not structured as a treatment program but more so an experience to embolden the client to succeed in a treatment program after completing their Challenge. Success in the wilderness easily transfers to success in society. A solo camping experience demands good ‘body management’ and is life altering.
